ONCE  UPON  A  TIME  IN  SOHO

Late summer of 2015, the New York Times' T Magazine gathered 28 of New York's most celebrated intellectuals who contributed to the downtown scene of New York throughout the the 70's and 80's.
The group included iconic writers, painters, social activists, actors, and musicians, all of whom helped to define what New York is, was, and can be. The Times brought on Amos Poe, a New York legend in his own right, to direct a behind the scenes documentary about the event. Shown here is the extended "director's cut" of that project, a meditative 30 minute featurette that reflects on a special time and place in history.
